Project Overview

In this case study I Designed an E-commerce platform to help converting amazing designs customers create into high-quality printed Apparels. It has a limited products with variation in sizes and colors where I focused on understanding the users behaviors , needs and motivations through conducting interviews , surveys and usability study to Building an actual Prototype for the app.


The task was providing a user friendly platform where users can easily request quotes, create custom designs, and order online. Through Web Custom to Print’’s innovation and expertise, provide a smooth transition that accommodated their needs

Problem Statement

 
  • People of different age groups have different demand and styles. That variety of the t-shirt printing business makes it important to have a clear understanding of your Niche and clear statement of what the business offers.

  • T-shirt printing business is really growing fast. With the new design ideas and the right marketing strategies, you can definitely take your business to the next level and standout of other competitors.

 

Objectives & Goals

 

Encouraging website users to register to use the app the product, and at the same time understand the outstanding features that the product offers.
Conducting unmoderated Surveys helped adding more features than assumptions for a user-friendly experience.
UX Research has allowed me to identify issues with website effectiveness, the key capabilities that target users focus on and categories needed to build an organized website.

Organizing E-commerce platforms needs a well organized grouping of products and categories to make it easier for the users to choose

when deciding to choose Custom-print platforms reviews, Size table, product description ,Delivery estimate ,Return policies.

Social Media integration as targeted users are between 16-35 and are very active on social media and use it frequently.

Newsletter sign-up to increase website trafficking.

wether they buy designs or have their own, They can flaunt their Aesthetic by selling t-shirts and various other styles like custom hoodies etc.

In order to show off their designs , Artists are selling T-shirts online , so they are looking for an easy reliable website to print their designs.

  • Important Screens : Home Page , Catalog Page , Product Page Contact Page

  • Content Identity : Make sure the message of the website is clear and delivered

  • Grouping categorize : sections among ages like Men, Kids, and Women like size, color, fabric detail, shipping details, number of items, Ratings are also available to gain trust and CTA buttons.

  • Organization : Header, Body, Footer are the major sections of the site. Importance of a good design hierarchy to separate the different categories and services . Main title also helps in gaining the attention of the users.

  • Process Improvement : like Save as draft for design, edit design, explanation of the process.

  • Important Features : Custom-Print platforms reviews, size table, product description, delivery estimation, return policies.
